Bespoke Pen Making

In this class, we’ll cover the basics of making a Bespoke/kitless pen, including the tools used and where to purchase them. A complimentary pen nib and all the necessary tools will be provided for attendees, but they are welcome to bring along tools that they are comfortable working with. By the end of the class, participants will have completed a custom pen along with instructions for its use.
Segmented Pen Blank Crafting: Create and Conquer

Embark on an exciting voyage into the realm of resin crafting. Guided by Jim Godoy of Cocoon Blanks, this class is tailored specifically for beginners. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of resin casting while guiding you through the process of creating your own unique pen blanks. No prior experience is necessary – just a passion for exploration and a desire to learn.
Throughout the class, you’ll learn the basics of color mixing, mold preparation, and casting techniques. You’ll build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills as you experiment with different dyes and mica powders. You’ll also learn best practices for safety, proper handling of materials, and troubleshooting common challenges. By the end of the session, you’ll have crafted your very own set of pen blanks ready for turning.
